Greek design and illustration awards is the top greek event in the field of visual communication. We tried to combine the "Greek" factor along with the "contemporary design". In order to achieve that we created a series of illustrations that were used throughout the visual identity of the event. Those elements were inspired by the Cycladic figurines found in the islands of the Aegean Sea from 3300 - 2000 BCE. Black and stylized are very exited holding an EBGE award on their hands. Other strong elements of the identity are the custom made typography and the color code that refers to the colors that were used in ancient greek pottery.
