VIMAgazino magazine commissioned us to design a centerpiece illustration for a special feature on the city of Thessaloniki with a particular interest in its future and youth. We designed the illustration in style echoing that of our Mr. European illustrated books, only to highlight Thessaloniki’s need for appreciation of simplicity and respect to the individuality of its citizens and especially its youngsters.

The illustration was coupled with the following poem: Salonika by Beetroot

People rise
Their glance, high
From our city’s guts
Springs new oxygen
